Caffe Diem

Unexpectedly amazing visit. I went for a cappuccino and left after the cappuccino, a half grilled cheese with bacon & small salad with balsamic reduction, an aeropress (my airbnbs have not had a coffee mechanism) & a bag of their roasted coffee. Everything, including the original aeropress, was reasonably priced. The owner (Josef, I believe) was very friendly and helpful to the ignorant American who did not speak Czech. The sandwich was very tasty - I'm not sure if it was a tomato puree ingredient or something different, but whatever it was, it gave the sandwich a little something extra. He made a coffee recommendation and ground the beans for me. I can't wait to try it tomorrow morning. I stopped back in on the way to the train station for an evening dessert or two, assuming they both make it back to Prague. Both desserts made it to Prague, and I had the strawberry cream creation. A cross between strawberry shortcake and cheesecake. Less cheesecake, more shortcake, but the top was gelatinized to keep it in place. It's very tasty. Tiramisu tomorrow, unless I get midnight munchies.

I recently visited Caffe Diem and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Their Flat White coffee was absolutely brilliant—perfectly brewed, with a smooth and velvety texture that hit all the right notes. We came from Prague for the day and it was really refreshing to have such a great, tasty and healthy breakfast. I had the avocado and eggs on dark bread and it was really light, but filling. The coffee is amazing, you can tell they really care. Don't miss breakfast or coffee here.

It one of the best coffee places that I have been before. Amazing that place has 4.9 points in Google Maps after more than 550 reviews and it’s really true. This place at the best level of products, service and atmosphere. When you see meal picture in a menu and going to order it you’ll get exactly the same portion, not approximately but exactly perfect meal. Great coffee, great sandwiches and breakfast. Simply perfect, very recommended!

Really great coffee that is roasted in house. Owner was very nice and informative! Great stop before walking over to the brewery. We got breakfast and a lemonade as well and everything was excellent.
